Nuclear Gauge Training Online

All portable nuclear gauge users are required to have formal radiation safety training prior to operating a nuclear gauge. This course satisfies the requirements of all NRC states and jurisdictions as well as many agreement states. Be sure to check the "Accepted States" list below for your state. If your state is not on the list please check back often as new ones are being continually added. If your state is not on the list below for portable gauge safety, youcan still take the HAZMAT refresher course, which is approved for all states.
A certificate of completion is printed immediately for your use upon successful completion of the course. Further hands on training for the specific gauge you will be operating will also be required by your company to satisfy NUREG 1556 Appendix D. In addition, users who transport gauges are required to obtain US DOT training (HAZMAT). This course also satisfies the USDOT requirements set forth in 49 CFR 172, subpart H.
