New gauge users and experienced users requiring refresher training.
After you complete the course your Radiation Safety Officer will sign the certificate verifying that you completed the test satisfactorily. On the job training must also be conducted to meet the criteria in NUREG 1556 and to further understand the operation of the specific nuclear gauge you will be operating.
Return to topYes. After you pay for the course, the computer will provide you with an access code, which you can enter in at a later date.
The course is based on an 8 hour timeframe for a new user, but depending on the individuals familiarity with nuclear gauges it may take less.
